The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Arkansas has over 30 research groups studying molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, ecology and evolutionary biology.
GRADUATE STUDENTS
We are very interested in bringing on talented and ambitious college graduates who wish to pursue a Ph.D. in the biological sciences. Students will join over 90 other PhD candidates in the vibrant graduate program at the University of Arkansas in beautiful and quirky Fayetteville, Arkansas. Extremely competitive stipends are available through internal fellowships. Students can begin in spring or fall 2020. POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS
We are open to creative and independent scientists who wish to probe the boundaries of cell biology and genetics during embryonic development.
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working undergraduates who are interested in carrying out fundamental research in developmental biology are encouraged to apply. No previous laboratory experience required. Applicants will be expected to commit to at least 5 hours a week for a period of at least one year.
